  Amongst all the cute innovations that flood the baby market, if I had to choose just ONE item to recommend to any new parent, it would be a hipseat. After much research and trying out various brands of hipseats in the market, we chose the Pognae (marketed by Pognae Singapore). And from the very first day it was received, we have been using it extensively for outings and also at home.
  
  What I like most about the hipseat is being able to pick up my little one without having to adjust multiple straps and buckles. The double straps allow me to use it as a baby carrier to keep baby safely strapped especially as she sleeps.
  
  The latest improvement to the Pognae hipseat is the Air Wrapper. In it, part of the wrapper is replaced with a thin mesh cloth allowing air flow and breathability (which just makes so much practical sense in hot and humid Singapore!)
  
  Kudos to Pognae Singapore for bringing in this wonderful product from Korea!

  The Pognae is definately one of my favorite carrier so far. We had a great Mama and Mishel's bonding time at the recent Jurong Lake run. My girl was enjoying herself thru out the whole walk. Thks alot — with Iskandar Isz.

Just to share... I have both the Pognae Baby Carrier as well as the Smart Carrier Hipseat in both the mash and normal wrapper. Initially my husband was skeptical about the carrier because it was not as well-known as other baby carriers like Babyjorn or Ergo. However, once we started to use it, wow.. what a great investment!!.
The moment I placed my boy in the Baby Carrier, he took the liking to it immediately. He felt so secured and safe in it that he can sleep without any fuss on the move. And of course, with the secure belts and straps, I have both my hands free to do other stuff.
As he got older and needed the need to explore, we got the Smart Carrier Hipseat for him and again, he loved it. With the hipseat, all the weight was distributed there hence no more backaches for mommy and daddy. Happy baby means happy parents.
Lastly, with the new mash wrapper attached to the hipseat, my hubby can carry our son longer without both of them perspiring like mad in Singapore.
So for those who has yet to get a carrier / hipseat, check out this product. Its great and I promise you won’t regret!!!

I have both the Pognae Baby Carrier and Smart Carrier Hipseat. I must really say it's one of the best investment I've gotten because it allows me to keep my baby close to me, giving my baby a sense of security and needless to say, I can have both hands free to carry my groceries or do my shopping easily. My baby can also sleep on me while I am on the move, because of the well-thought design, backaches will never happen with Pognae Carriers! So, mummies out there, it is a GREAT PRODUCT which you won't regret getting! From Ong Huiyi

  I just brought the Pognae for a long trip out today. It is simple to use and good for active babies! My baby hates to be strapped and struggles to get out of other carriers after half an hour. With the Pognae we lasted the entire 4 hour trip! She did struggle cos she wanted to turn around to grab something so saw but I simply release the catch behind, held her with just the hipseat and continued on. I think the pognae is not hot and this helps too.
  
  Having carried my baby around for 4 hours I do feel a bit of ache but it is bearable absolutely. I think for a trip of this length it's also wiser to use a pram probably but I was just eager to try out the pognae :)
  
  I'm very glad I got the pognae instead of what I was planning to get. Because a hipseat is really helpful. My baby is hyperactive and wriggles a lot in arms but the hipseat holds her steady despite her movements.
  
  I bought this based on Helen's recondition over SMS. She's prompt and very helpful. The parcel arrived in a about / days even though I opted for the normal up to 10-15 days delivery. I'm very pleased with my pognae experience, but have given it a rating 4 because I've never used other mainstream carriers (my baby doesn't like to be restrained carriers). I might have given it a 5 :)

  The thought of buying a carrier came to mind as pushing a stroller gets too troublesome at times. I thought my 7-month old baby wouldn't like it but to my surprise he didn't mind it and even fell asleep while in it for the very first time! The ventilation mesh is good as my baby perspire easily.
  Baby's weight also spreaded out evenly, making it less tiring carrying baby.
  It's a great buy overall!

  The weight carrying the baby is spread evenly and the shoulder straps are very comfortable. I do not feel any of the baby's weight pulling me down and causing any shoulder aches, unlike the previous carrier I was using. What I like best is the cooling mesh that is suitable to our hot tropical weather, keeps the baby cool. The 'sitting position' design prevents the baby's legs dangling, but a nice comfortable hugging feel. My big-sized 11 month old baby enjoys being carried in Pognae!

  This is so economical and does not feel any weigh on my shoulders compared to my Baby Bjorn carrier. The - side is without the back support thus my back will hurt a bit after long hours of carrying my girl but for the price, it is still worth it!
  Good design for the airy mesh as carriers normally will be very warm for the kids. Best buy for my kid so far!

  My Baby BOY his POGNAE Smart Hipseat & High Cool Wrapper~ Lemme share with you the PROS (+) ::
  -Easy to put on (even it's just you yourself handling the baby alone)!
  -Durable & hardy!
  -Baby feels roomy & doesn't constrict his movements!
  -Baby's weight sits more on the Hip & not on parent's shoulders so it is less taxing &strenuous on the body unlike conventional baby carriers!
  -High cool wrapper is airy &comfy for baby especially in Sg's humid hot weather!
  -Many colors to choose from!
  
  & Just some very minor CONS (-) ::
  -Can have more funky designs but probably due to the nylon material designs can be limited.
  -Suggestion to have a drool pad for the high cool wrapper when baby is facing forward (baby drool alot especially when teething!).
  -Abit bulky due to the foam padding which is meant for baby to sit on/harder to fold & keep inside the Stroller's storage compartment.
  
  
  Overall Pognae Smart Hipseat is a very handy & useful baby carrier! It's the best out there & can be used for bigger-sized baby who doesn't know how to walk yet! Just look at my photo (mine's already 12kg @9mths!) ~ Baby is always so happy sitting in it & attracts so much attention as he is always so smiley!
